I know you compare us But how does she match up to me?
Getting out of the sports car, she wore the usual. Jeans with countless holes in them, underneath that fishnet. A black form fitting shirt, and converse. Her head lifted up as she felt the first drop of rain. Great… She spoke with a sigh and slammed the door shut as she went up and got registered for the motel room. By the time she went back outside, the rain was pouring down. She squeaked as she ran through the rain, to her room, which happened to be all the way on the other side. She was soaked, and the onning above her room didn’t work, so she was still getting wet as she tried to get the key in the door. Every time it didn’t work. The light wouldn’t flash. She closed her eyes and kicked the door, only to hurt her toe. FUCK!!! The obscenity left the girls mouth with a scream as she held her foot up. WORK KEY WORK!!! She screamed at the tiny plastic card key, and tried again. Once again, rejected. By this time, Lexy was soaked to the bone. She sighed, and just stared at the plastic key in her hand, then back at the pad on the door. What was the use for these things if they didn’t work. She sighed, shaking her head, and started back to the managers desk. It was way to late at night for this shit. Pushing midnight. Making sloshing noises the whole way there she looked at the desk, finding it empty. She gently knocked on the glass to get someone’s attention, but a large flash of lighting, lit up the sky, fallowed by a loud boom of thunder, that caused her to jump. Damn it all to hell… She spoke softly and sighed.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kellan was getting in rather late tonight. Most of the band stayed at the four seasons hotel, but he wasn't with the band. He was just the tech, and he didn't have money to stay at the four seasons hotel, anyway. It was something crazy like five-hundred bucks a night, and the motel was about sixty, and it was just a place to sleep. He had an umbrella with him, because he always watched the news and they said it was going to rain today. He'd actually bought the umbrella at the Weller Court Mall, but only because he couldn't find a Wal-Mart anywhere. It was practicing raining cats and dogs outside, and he could barley hear anything over the roar of the thunder. He opened his umbrella and stepped out of the car. He thought her hears someone screaming, but it was hard to hear over the noise of the storm.
Kellan walked into the front office to get his key, shaking the water off his umbrella. He closed the door behind him, and thunder crackled over head. There was a girl at the empty desk. Her closes were wet and black. he couldn't tell if they were originally black, or if the rain had turned them black. He saw the little sign that said "Back in ten minutes" sitting on top of an old, bulky computer. He didn't know how long that sign had been there, but he'd have to wait only ten minutes at the most. The girl looked distressed, and like a drowned cat. He wondered if she knew he make-up was running. "Some storm we're having, huh?" he asked, and stayed a few yards from her, trying not to scare her. He closed his umbrella and stood it next to to his leg, and waited for the clerk to get back from his break.

Alexia sighed and rung out her hair onto the floor. She could have probally ran out atlest a cup or two. Hearing the little bell sounding off the the entrance of another person she turned around, blinking recognizing him she smiled. Wicked storm.. She spoke and sighed grabbing a tissue from the box on the counter. She whipped off the running eyeliner and sighed again. God she knew she looked like shit, and defiantly didn’t want to look so bad in front of people, especially people she knew. So…Yeah long time no see Kellan…Why aren’t you staying with the band…Don’t they pay for your room? She asked looking at him. Dabbing her eyes one more time she turned and looked into the room, still no manager. She sighed and turned around, and sat in one of the uncomfortable chairs, looking at him with a small smile, trying to keep the conversation light. --sorry im sleepy.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kellan smiled and his eyes gleamed with amusement. He hadn't recognized Alexia in the dim half-light, or through the fact that she was soaked to the bone. He turned down his iPod's volume so her could hear her, and stretched his arm forward with his umbrella to rest it against one of the little chairs in what was a poor excuse for a lobby. He sat down in the chair beside her, and handed her his jacket that was folded over his arm. "Here, you have to be cold." He was really trying to be nice. He'd heard all about the good karma stuff, and decided why not? He sunk back into the hard plastic chair, trying to get comfortable enough that he could sit there for about ten minutes. He finally found that place when the top edge of the chair was right under his shoulder blades. He itched at the back of his neck, changing the song to Young by Hollywood Undead.
"No, the band doesn't pay for me, they pay for themselves. And the managers a bum and couldn't get all the band into the hotel, so most of the techs and merchs are stuck here." He paused for a moment, regretting not bringing his guitar with him from his car. Now he'd probably spend the next ten minutes in awkward silence with Alexia because he wasn't very much of a people person. He also had a song floating around in his head, and now the itch to get it out was getting pretty bad lately, but whenever he remember - his guitar wasn't with him. "What about you? Don't you have an apartment or something?" He only asked because he knew she lived here in LA. Kellan looked at the little sign that said "Be back in ten minutes" again, already feeling like he'd been here for ten minutes. The corner of his mouth twitched when he had a funny thought, but it was gone by the time he was gong to tell Lexi. He slid the tiniest bit down in the seat.
